Who runs Balkan Borders
Balkan Borders is run by Andrej Janev.
I wanted one place where I could look up the wait at every border I cared about, so I built it. I also wanted drivers like me to have one source, instead of digging through dozens of search results to find the right one.
What we do
Every hour we read the wait times that border authorities publish: the Croatian police through HAK, the Serbian Border Police through AMSS, the Hungarian police, BIHAMK and the others listed on Sources. We put both directions of every crossing on one page, beside the live cameras. That's 91 crossings across 11 countries, in six languages.
What we do not do
We never make a figure up. Where no authority publishes a wait, the page says so instead of guessing. A band an authority publishes (“up to 30 min”) stays a band. Driver reports are checked before they appear, and the page always says when a figure comes from a driver rather than an authority.

A crossing we are missing, a mistake on a page, or a partnership: the contact page. To report a wait, use the form on that crossing's page.
