What to expect
The single busiest passenger crossing for the Balkan diaspora heading to and from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Cars back up hardest outbound (leaving Serbia toward Hungary) on summer Fridays and Saturdays, and on the late-August return wave; the inbound direction peaks in early July. Because both sides process every car, delays quoted for the Serbian side stack on top of Hungarian processing.
